Who actually lowers my taxes?
The county itself. Every county has a review board whose legal job is to correct assessments. We file your appeal with that board, with evidence: the homes near yours and what they are valued at. If your number is out of line, the board corrects it and your bill follows. It is a right you already have - most people just never use it.
Is this legal?
Completely. The appeal process is written into state law. You could even file yourself for free - what you pay us for is finding the overcharge, building the evidence, and handling the whole process.
Will this raise my taxes if it fails?
Appeals ask the county to review the evidence we submit. A denied appeal simply leaves your value where it was.
What does it cost?
Nothing up front, and nothing ever unless we win. If we win, our fee is 35% of your first year's savings - one time. The savings repeat every year and are all yours.
How long does it take?
Most counties decide within a few months of the filing window. We handle every step and keep you posted.
